I am seriously in love with these photos from this beach engagement session with Becky and Sam! When Becky asked me to be their photographer for their June 2019 wedding I was ecstatic. It’s going to be at the brand new barn at one of my most favorite venues Maple Meadows Farms. For their engagement session, they wanted a beachy romantic vibe so I suggested Charles Daley Park near Jordan station.
This location boasts a beautiful variety of backdrops between the beach, trees, lake, and rocks. Bonus, we also got treated to a gorgeous sunset over the water, making this engagement session that much more romantic.
It was love at first sight
Becky met her handsome Aussie Sam while she was on a study abroad exchange in Adelaide, Australia back in 2012. It was love at first sight, they met at a bar just 5 days before she was coming home. This chance encounter sparked a flame that would see them through years of a long-distance relationship. After many visits back and forth Becky moved to Australia and eventually, they decided to move back to Guelph, ON in May 2015 and have been here ever since.
The Proposal
These two LOVE the peace and serenity of cottaging up North. Sam’s proposal was nothing short of romantic as he popped the big question during one of their trips on the lake over a cozy campfire.
These photos really show what a fun loving couple Becky and Sam are and how much love and affection they have for each other. I seriously can not wait for their June 2019 wedding and to document all the amazing moments of their special day.
