Hey there, loves! As an Ontario-based wedding photographer, I recently had the absolute pleasure of documenting the most stunning and stylish wedding in London, Ontario. From the amazing getting ready photos at the bride’s parents’ fabulous home to the unforgettable ceremony at St. Mary’s Parish, to the breathtaking reception venue at RBC Place, it was a day full of love, joy, and beauty. Let’s take a closer look at all the amazing moments we captured.
Getting Ready Photos: A Fabulous Start to the Day
Okay, let’s talk about the bride’s getting-ready photos for a sec – they were nothing short of amazing! First and foremost, the bride looked absolutely stunning in her dress and accessories, which we were able to capture in all their glory. We were lucky enough to take them at her parents’ home, which was basically like a fancy hotel. Additionally, the decor and interior design of the house provided the perfect backdrop for the photos, with elegant furnishings and tasteful accents. The bride and her bridesmaids were laughing, chatting, and just having the best time ever as they got ready for the big day. Furthermore, we were able to capture all of the excitement and anticipation leading up to the wedding ceremony. We took advantage of all the natural light and stunning surroundings to capture some seriously breathtaking shots.
The grooms getting ready pics were at a friend’s house nearby that my second photographer captured perfectly for us. Moreover, the groom and his groomsmen were equally as stylish and dashing as the bridesmaids, with sharp suits and stylish accessories. My fave part of the getting ready photos is how aesthetically beautiful they are while also showcasing the joy, fun and authentic moments. Overall, the getting ready photos were a great way to start off the wedding day and capture some unforgettable memories.
Ceremony: Love and Emotion in Every Moment
The ceremony at St. Mary’s Parish was just beautiful. The bride and groom exchanged their vows in front of their loved ones, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was such a special moment, and we were so honored to be there to capture it all. From the bride’s stunning gown to the groom’s dapper suit, everything was just perfect.
Formal Wedding Party Photos: A Little Bit of Heat and a Lot of Fun
Let’s just say, things got a little spicy during the formal wedding party photos! Despite dealing with some pretty intense heat and being on a tight schedule, we were able to capture some truly amazing shots. We ended up taking the photos at a local park, which wasn’t our first choice, but we made it work. And boy, did we ever! The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined, and we had such a blast capturing them.
Golden Hour Photos: Magic in the Air
RBC Place London is wonderful but it is lacking in photographic locations for magical golden hour photos. We weren’t quite sure where to take our couple, but after a quick scout, I stumbled on this cool artistic graffiti wall in the back of the building. It ended up giving pure magic vibes. It perfectly suited the couple’s style (did we mention the groom is a tattoo artist?). Therefore this little surprise gem of a spot added the perfect creative vibe to our golden hour photos.
Reception Venue: Beauty and Elegance in London Ontario
Finally, let’s talk about the reception venue – RBC Place in London. It was absolutely breathtaking and the perfect setting for this couple’s big day. The banquet center was transformed into the most elegant and beautiful space you could imagine. From the speeches to the dancing, everything was just full of love and joy. Did you know that RBC Place London is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Huron-Wendt, Attawandaron and Lenape Indigenous peoples. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, including Treaty 6, the London Township Treaty.

Overall, it was an absolutely amazing day, and we feel so honored to have been a part of it. As wedding photographers, we love capturing all the special moments that make each wedding unique. And this one was definitely one for the books! We can’t wait to see what love story we’ll document next.
