I knew when my friend and wedding planner Brittany Carovillano, asked me to be the photographer for her very own wedding, that it was going to be nothing short of AMAZING! Brittany runs her company Event Life Entertainment with such style, and flair that I could not wait to see what she was going to accomplish for her very own wedding! Let me tell you, she did not disappoint!
For this wedding, it was clear that we would need to pull out ALL of the stops! Nothing but the best for Britt! We had 10 hours of coverage to accomplish and 6 locations! The day started in Welland, ON and our final destination would be Carmen’s Banquet Centre Wedding Venue in Hamilton, ON. With such an eventful day, I knew I would be needing help, I decided to bring out fellow photog Sarah Whitsitt to be my second for the day. She was so fabulous to work with and was always there watching my back. One of the benefits of bringing on a second photographer is being able to divide and concur. While Sarah was documenting Eric’s getting ready shots I was with Britt and the girls during what I like to call, all the light-hearted chaos.
I arrived at Brittany & Eric’s home to find all of the girls in matching custom tanks, LOVE THIS. The more fun and creative you can make your time getting ready, the better the photos will be. Time was running short since the girls were late getting back from the salon. For the detail shots, I took Britts, OMG STUNNING GOWN, outside for its very own shoot. Then grabbed candids of her and the ladies scrambling to get ready and finally a very emotional first look with her dear old dad. Tissues were definitely needed here.
Due to the crazy schedule and multiple locations, Britt and I agreed that she and Eric were going to need to do a first look. I love doing these and it was so fun making Eric sweat and wait for his gorgeous girl to arrive. It was way too cute and emotional as he surprised her with a gorgeous ring that was a part of an inside joke between the two of them. By this time my cheeks were already hurting and we were just getting started.
Britt wanted some variety in her photos, she opted for two separate locations for her portraits since we had time before the late afternoon ceremony. Our first stop was at Tawse Winery in Vineland, ON. This place was way too gorgeous with it’s rolling views from high up on the escarpment and my absolute FAVORITE part of this location….SHEEP! You guys, they have SHEEP! We had so much fun doing the family and bridal portraits here. They also were kind enough to let us use SMOKE BOMBS on their property, which turned out soooo cool. It was 100% Britts idea. Listen, when your bride calls and asks you if you want to use smoke bombs, the answer is always HELL YA GIRL!
Brittany really wanted to make a “Pit-Stop”…. haha Pun-Intended…at the Peach Country Farm Market in Vineland, ON. I never would normally consider this location but one of my most fave photos of the day came from here and they have some really cool antique vehicles and rustic decor on site. Not to mention all the pretty peach trees baby!
When the world tour was done we made it to Carmen’s Banquet Centre Wedding Venue and I was instantly blown away! All of these amazing little details that Brittany had told me about were even more incredible then I had imagined. She. had. EVERYTHING! Here are just a few of the highlights:
Seriously those are just a few highlights, this girl went all out and Carmen’s #nailedit. It truly made the day that much more special. I could honestly go on and on about how wonderful it was capturing all of these beautiful moments for Brittany and Eric. And I could gush about how awesome Carmen’s Banquet center Wedding Venue is but why tell you when I can show you right? Check out the gallery below!
